The Triton system arrives fully assembled, including all necessary PVC fittings for installation on DFT water basins. The delivery includes:

How many ppm dissolved oxygen in the water?
We recommend keeping a value between 15 and 20 ppm to get the optimal result.
What if too many nanobubbles are dosed?
If fertilisers are also dosed to the DFT water basin, the DO reading on the Nanobubbles system should not be set above 17ppm to avoid reaction with iron chelate.
What kind of prefiltration?
Technically, the Triton needs a pre-filtration of 1,000 microns to protect the device, but for the optimal performance of nanobubbles, a pre-filtration of at least 40-60 microns is advised.
Does every cultivation type require the same dosage of nanobubbles?
Broadly speaking, yes, with the exception of crops with a high organic load in the water, in which case the dosage should be higher.
What are important considerations for proper operation?
- Make sure all supply lines entering the silo are below the water level, this gives higher efficiency, falling water causes nanobubbles to explode.
- Make sure the intake line of the irrigation unit is properly sized and does not pull too much vacuum, as vacuum pulling causes the nanobubbles to explode to larger bubbles and come out of the water.
